In winter your children can enjoy skiing, snow boarding, sledging and other seasonal activities on the slopes of Villars - Bretaye , a spectacular domaine of over 40 kms of ski runs. Beginners practise skiing on the school's own ski run and those who enjoy skating can go to the Villars ice skating rink. This indeed adds three special programs tailored to the age of the children in addition to the traditional, ski, snowboards, snowblade, sleding in the ski area of Villars-Gryon. For children from 3 to 6, the "mini" program consists, of skiing, ledging, but also creative activitites such as crafts, cooking, visual arts, as well as games in the nature... So that everyone can have fun and enjoy a good time all together. The ski station at Pré Fleuri is a great practice area for the beginners, this enables them to achieve their first decents, always acompanied by our monitors. After that, they will go with a ski instructor to "Frience" at the "Alpe des Chaux" where they will be well taken care of. The "junior" program for 7 to 10 year old children, offers the possibility to learn snowboard. Depending on their level teachers will initiate the children in snowboarding and snowblading. In addition to well-filled days in the mountains, your children will also spend some of their evenings bowling or ice skating in Villars. Games such as "Alpine Rugby" are also proposed a game which children enjoy tremendowsly. These holidays also offer the opportunity to participate to the Carnival of Gryon and to get disguised. Why not spend some time with sledge-dogs, and perhaps have the opportunity to do a little tour with them...? The 11 to 14 years old program has a wide range of activities focus on the outdoor. We intend to discover mountaineering. The glacier of Les Diablerets is neareby and gives us the possibility to walk on the ice with ice axes and crampons, to ski on the glacier and if weather conditions permit, try some ice-climbing. The more advanced ones will be able to ski or snowboard and choose between freeride or piste skiing ride. Always supervised by our teachers. The Villars-Gryon domain offers 150 km of ski slopes, and a garantee of having snow at all times during winter. Also, children will have the opportunity to take the train in the evening to have dinner in the Alps. On top of that, they will enjoy a day of relax activities and enjoying warm pools, bowling or going ice skating. Holidays at Pré Fleuri are also an opportunity to spend moments together. Every Thursday, a themed buffet is organised by our chef for all the children. Every week, on Wednesday the children have a break. It is time for them to go out shopping, in the valley or in Villars, but it is mostly the opportunity to make a cultural excursion, to different places according to their age. Every evening is dedicated to acitivities with our monitors where laughter and enjoyment are guaranteed. This year, we will be pleased to share all these moments again in your company.
